“Dual Graduate Education Program between VNU-Hanoi and JAIST” started in 2005 in order to promote academic and educational exchanges in the fields of nano science and technology.
In this program, selected Vietnamese students in the Master’s program of VNU-Hanoi study in both Vietnam and Japan and obtain degrees from both Institutions. During the first year of the Master’s program, the students obtain basic knowledge of nano science and technology in VNU-Hanoi and in the second year, they transfer to JAIST to learn other advanced research techniques, using our facilities under the supervision of JAIST faculty members. In the Doctoral program, selected Vietnamese students study in VNU-Hanoi for 1.5 years and conduct research at JAIST for 2.5 years. The students who complete the Master’s and doctoral programs will receive dual degrees from both VNU-Hanoi and JAIST.
To support the students, both countries provide funding for this program. On the Vietnamese side, VNU-Hanoi has received funding from “Project 322” from the Vietnamese Government for the students. JAIST will waive tuition for this Program. All instructions are in English throughout the program. |
