Professor Hideki Matsumura has been retired from the School of Materials Science in March, 2013, and became an emeritus professor there. At the same time, he was re-employed again by JAIST as a research professor of the Center for Nano Materials and Technology (CNMT) at JAIST to continue the research on the application of Cat-CVD and Cat-doping to solar cells, which is carried out as one of the national projects. Due to the expiration of his term of office, this laboratory has been closed as of March 2018.
