Overseas participants entering Vietnam should possess a passport with valid visa which can be obtained at the Vietnamese Embassies or Consulates in the corresponding countries. Visas are exempted for the citizens of the countries, which have signed a bilateral visa exemption agreement with Vietnam, including Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Laos. Vietnam also made a unilateral decision on visa exemption for citizens of Japan, South Korea, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia and Finland for short stay visits. If you need acceptance letters for your visa application, please contact Van-Nam HUYNH at huynh@jaist.ac.jp. Acceptance letters should only be issued to Speakers/Presenters and Committee members who have paid the required registration fee in full. When you plan to travel with your family and/or students who do not present any paper, please apply for visas together.
