1. Why I chose JAIST
When I heard the information about the internship program in JAIST from my own university, I was still a third year student. I still have 2 more years to graduate from my university, but for the experience of studying more advanced and different technologies and methods in different environment, so that I applied to this JAIST autumn internship program 2019.
2. My research activities and life in JAIST
My supervisor in JAIST is Prof.Mizuhito Ogawa and he asked me to
attend his lecture I237E Formal methods and automata. I got a lot of experience on attending his lecture and did some implementations as report. I took his exam for an experience of a master student. I also tested some logic puzzles with miniSAT and finally did presentation my progress and doing of my internship.
Life in JAIST is way more different than my home country. The weather is cold and seeing different cultures and environment got me some new experiences. I lived on my own room, did my washing and cooking by myself. These things made me develop self-esteem and confidence. I also visited to Ishikawa zoo, Kanazawa, Sky Shishiku and Komatsu city so that I could learn different cultures, sceneries and environment.
3. My future dream
As a computer science student, my dream is to become an expert at Software Engineering. I also want to study more higher level than Bachelor's Degree and become Software Engineer who can support the IT industry in my country.
4. Message to students who are considering studying in JAIST
As I am an internship student, I will give message from the viewpoint of an internship student. Internship is not quite busy as regular students in JAIST, but internship here is the more you want to study, the more you can get. So if you are trying to study in JAIST as an internship student, you need to consider what you want to do and determine yourself to achieve something that will make you worth studying for two months.
