International Journal of Knowledge
and Systems Sciences is the
official journal of the International
Society for Knowledge and Systems
Sciences. This society was
established in 2003 to promote
knowledge science and systems
science, as well as the collaboration
between both for dealing with
complex issues in the new era
of knowledge society.
The first issue of the journal
(Vol.1, No.1) was published
in November 2004 from JAIST
Press, which includes 10 important
papers related to new approaches
to knowledge science from both
hard and soft systems methodologies.
The second issues (Vol.2, No.1)
was published in March 2005,
in which Professor Z. Pawlak,
the founder of the rough-sets
theory, contributed his new
theory: Flow Graphs, followed
by 8 papers treating knowledge
management and applications.
