Kaitai Shinsho, Sugita Genpaku (1774)

The Rare Books Room houses an exhibit of some of the classics in the fields of natural science and philosophy, as well as works by local artists.
Kaitai Shinsho is on permanent exhibit in the exhibition room, and some rare books are temporarily exhibited in the hall when the Special Exhibition event is held during the Open Campus.
