Visa Application
A visa is required for citizens of countries and regions that do not have visa exempt agreements with Japan.
Visa process differs from country to country. Please contact the Consular Section of the Embassy or Consulate General of Japan nearest you for inquiry.
The standard processing period is five working days. However, if any kind of checking is required (the submission of additional documents, an interview with the applicant, inquiries, etc.), the examination may take longer than five working days (from several weeks to several months) so it is recommended that you make the application with plenty of time.
For more information, please visit the Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs site.
Note:
If you are required to submit doccuments issued by Congress Organizer, please send an email to ICFEM VISA Help Desk (visa-application@t-e-i.co.jp).
