Overview

AWIST2019 is co-organized by the Center for Artificial Intelligence Technology (CAIT), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), the Research Center for Entertainment Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), and Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM). It is part of collaboration activities in strengthening research partnership between UKM - JAIST - UNIKOM. Therefore, various activities have been conducted to strengthen this partnership, working in closer collaboration of research activities in various branches of Science and Technology (S&T). Details of the previous workshops are :

  1. 1st Malaysia-Japan Workshop on Advanced Technology for Information and Knowledge, 3-6 June 2013, at JAIST. This was the MoU signing ceremony between UKM and JAIST Link .

  2. Asean-Japan Workshop on Information Science Technology, 10-12 June 2014 at UKM Link .

  3. Jaist Symposium on Advanced Science and Technology (JAIST SAST 2015), 10-12 November 2015 at JAIST Link .

  4. ASEAN JAPAN JOINT-WORKSHOP ON COMPUTATIONAL LINGUISTICS & INFORMATICS 2017 (AJCLI2017) at UKM Link .

  5. 2018 ASEAN Workshop on Information Science and Technology (AWIST2018) at JAIST Link .
