Objective and TopicsThe main objective of the Symposium is to provide a forum for exchanges of research results, ideas for and experience of application among researchers and practitioners interested in Knowledge and Systems Sciences. The topics of KSS 2012 include, but are not limited to, the following: Ÿ Creation of agent-based social systems sciences Ÿ Cross-cultural learning on systems thinking and knowledge management Ÿ Complex system modeling and complexity Ÿ Decision support systems Ÿ Knowledge creation, creativity support, awareness support, etc. Ÿ Knowledge discovery: data mining, text mining, recommendation system and relevant Web intelligence tools Ÿ Knowledge systems engineering and knowledge management Ÿ Meta-synthesis and advanced modeling Ÿ Problem structuring methods and system methodologies Ÿ Social dynamic network modeling Paper SubmissionSubmission of manuscripts (around 6-page full paper or 2-page extended abstract) should be made via email to Van-Nam Huynh at huynh@jaist.ac.jp, by July 15, 2012 (extended to August 20, 2012).
