Announcement Internet broad cast for the main ICGA events

JAIST is delighted to announce that we will hold 18th World Computer Chess Championship, 15th JAIST Computer Olympiad, and International Conference on Computers and Games 2010, at Shiinoki Cultual Complex in Kanazawa city, from September 24h to October 2nd. These events are held in Japan for the first time, with the support of ICGA President David Levy to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the founding of JAIST.

We will be broadcasting the main events online, scheduled as below.

1. Shogi software competition:
    With expert commentator Nobuyuki Ohuchi (9 dan), broadcast 9:00 ~ 12:00
    both on September 30th, October 1st

2. Igo software competition:
    With expert commentator Haruhiko Shirae (8 dan), broadcast 9:00 ~ 12:00
    both on September 30th, October 1st

3. Igo Man Vs Machine competition-Software Vs Rina Fujisawa (Shodan)
    With expert commentator Haruhiko Shirae (8 dan), broadcast 13:00 ~ 15:00
    on October 2nd
