学生のLIU, Yuningさん（博士後期課程3年、人間情報学研究領域、鵜木研究室）が2024 RISP International Workshop on Nonlinear Circuits, Communications and Signal Processing(NCSP'24)において、Student Paper Awardを受賞しました。

　NCSP'24は信号処理学会（RISP）が主催し、令和6年2月27日から3月1日にかけて、ハワイ（ホノルル）にて開催された信号処理に関する国際会議です。RISPは、広い意味での信号処理分野の発展と会員が相互に研鑚・親睦を深めることを目指し、かつ大学院生をはじめとする若手研究者に国際会議の場で研究成果を発表する機会を提供することにより世界で活躍できる研究者を育成することを目的として、 同会議を毎年開催しています。

■受賞対象となった研究の内容
This study investigates how speakers adapt to each other, termed as entrainment, and explores the integration of acoustic features to analyze entrainment across multiple parameters in conversation scenarios. By computing proximity, convergence, and synchrony metrics, we differentiate conversation scenarios. This study proposed a linear model to describe how different dialogue strategies modulate and integrate various speech features. Employing 193 dialogues of four scenarios data from the Chinese TV drama "Golden Marriage", the proposed method outperformed PCA in extracting integrated acoustic features and exploring entrainment across multiple parameters.

　このたびは、NCSP'24でStudent paper awardをいただき、大変光栄に思っております。このような賞をいただけたのは、私の主指導である鵜木祐史教授と、研究室のメンバー全員からいただいた様々な意見やサポートのおかげだと思っています。今後はこの賞を励みに、より一層研究を進めたいと思います。
