学生のLAI, Kechengさん（博士後期課程3年、創造社会デザイン研究領域、藤波研究室）が国際会議2022 6th International Conference on Medical and Health Informatics （ICMHI 2022）においてBest Presentation（Session 1 Topic: Bioelectronics and Biomedical Image Processing）を受賞しました。

　ICMHI 2022は、優れた学者、研究者、学生が集まり、医療・健康科学のあらゆる側面に関する経験や研究成果を交換・共有することを目的としています。また、医療・健康情報学の分野における最新の革新、傾向、懸念、直面する実際的な課題と様々な解決策について議論し、世界中の産学官の専門家たちが、研究要旨、論文、ポスターの投稿を通じ、国際的な技術者間の学際的なコラボレーションと交流を促進するものです。
　今回、ICMHI 2022は対面での開催を予定していましたが、コロナ禍の影響によりオンラインでの開催となり、令和4年5月13日から15日にかけて行われました。

Analysis on Mechanisms of Idea Generation: Evidences from fNIRS Hyperscanning

■受賞対象となった研究の内容
This study aimed to determine whether intuitive play affects the speech of referring to ideas in the interaction between individuals. We focused on a creativity-related task to investigate the differences between two ways for collaborative problem-solving, namely, do-first and think-first approaches. We obtained significant differences between the activities referring to ideas and the others interpreting concepts. We found that the "do-first" approach facilitates conversations on ideas. We also saw a trend of increased cerebral blood flow in the subjects' prefrontal cortex and increased brain activity when performing the task. Our findings indicate that fNIRS technology enables us to study the mechanism of idea generation.

　この度は、ICMHI 2022におきまして、ベストプレゼンテーション賞をいただき、大変光栄に思います。本研究のご指導を頂いた藤波努先生をはじめ、共著者の皆様、そして、査読・選考に関った皆様や、発表を聞いてくださった皆様にも、この場をお借りして感謝申し上げます。今回の受賞を励みに、今後は、fNIRS技術を利用して未だ謎の多い具体的な課題解決に向けて一層精進してまいります。
