学生のHUANG, Zhengyuさん（博士後期課程2年、ヒューマンライフデザイン領域、宮田研究室）が国際会議NICOGRAPH International 2021においてBest Short Paper Awardを受賞しました。

　NICOGRAPH International 2021は、芸術科学会主催の国際会議であり、2000年から毎年開催されている歴史ある学会です。今年度は第20回目となり、コンピュータグラフィックスおよびその関連分野における科学と芸術の融合研究を推進し、メディアアートの発展を図ることを目的としています。今回、NICOGRAPH International 2021は7月9日～10日にかけて新型コロナウイルスの影響でオンライン開催となりました。

■受賞対象となった研究の内容
　本研究では、イラストからの線抽出のためのOne-Shot機械学習フレームワークを提案した。提案アルゴリズムは、単一のカラーイラストと線画のペアを用いて学習する際のデータ拡張手法を提案しました。そして、類似の色付けスタイルを持つカラーイラストを対象に、モデルの有効性と効率性を検証しました。本研究は科研費JP20K19845とJP19K20316及び立石科学技術振興財団助成を受けて行いました。

I'm greatly honored to receive the Best Short Paper Award at NICOGRAPH International 2021. Here, I'd like to thank all those who were involved in this research, including Senior Lecturer Xie, Prof. Miyata, Prof. Fukusato from the University of Tokyo and all lab members in Miyata lab. Encouraged by this award, I will make further efforts in my research and development, and do my best to produce even better research results.
