修了生のLUO, Shuyangさん（令和3年3月博士前期課程修了、ヒューマンライフデザイン領域、宮田研究室）が国際会議NICOGRAPH International 2021においてBest Full Paper Nominee Awardを受賞しました。

　NICOGRAPH International 2021は、芸術科学会主催の国際会議であり、2000年から毎年開催されている歴史ある学会です。今年度は第20回目となり、コンピュータグラフィックスおよびその関連分野における科学と芸術の融合研究を推進し、メディアアートの発展を図ることを目的としています。今回、NICOGRAPH International 2021は7月9日～10日にかけて新型コロナウイルスの影響でオンライン開催となりました。

■受賞対象となった研究の内容
　本研究では、アニメの髪型編集のためのスケッチベースのインタラクティブなデザインインターフェースを提案しました。提案システムでは、Generative Adversarial Networksモデルのゲート付き畳み込み層を採用していました。本研究では、データ学習用のデータセットを収集し、学習されたモデルに基づいてユーザインタフェースを構築しました。本研究は科研費JP20K19845及び立石科学技術振興財団助成を受けて行いました。

It is a great honor to receive Best Full Paper Nominee Award at NICOGRAPH International 2021. NICOGRAPH International is an excellent international academic conference, I want to thank many people's help to get this award. Firstly，I would like to thank Prof. Miyata and Senior Lecturer Xie, for their patient guidances, and giving me the environment where I can access and obtain the knowledge that interests me. Besides, I am also greatful to all friends in Miyata lab for their help, both in study and in life, love you guys and best wishes.
