Welcome to our Transdispirinary Science, which is collaborative division of graduate school in JAIST and Kanazawa University in taking into account of attractions of geographical proximity and high technologies.

As particular features, this division have many curriculums in both universities, 1 week of laboratory rotation, internship to company or oversea university in preparing for challenging life, green, or system innovation.

Incidentally, in our contemporary society, how have the advanced scientific technologies been discovered or developed innovatively ? For example, as desktop metaphor, the design of PC (personal computer) is based on how to office workers act and operate daily. It is deeply related to not only electric device or software technology but also psychology or human behavior science. Also, the internal combustion engine in automobile is designed by binding many elementary disciplines: mechanics, material chemistry, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, control theory, reliability engineering, and so on. Thus, just like these examples, the fusion of different disciplines is very important especially for exploring near-future innovations desired as discovering novel scientific principle, developing new technology, finding unnoticed business area, etc.
