Aim for Science, Technology and Innovation through Transdisciplinary Science!
JAIST and Kanazawa University jointly established the graduate-level collaborative educational courses aiming to bring up leaders in science, technology and innovation to lead the society with excellent idea and ability to take action.
Based on the idea that “New Knowledge” which is the source of innovation is created from integration of multi-disciplines beyond the established science fields, the Division of Transdisciplinary Sciences (Master’s Degree) was established in 2018 followed by Division of Transdisciplinary Sciences (Doctoral Degree) established in 2020. JAIST and Kanazawa University aim to try new research field and build a “Model of Transdisciplinary Postgraduate Program” together.

Faculty Members
Each students can choose one main supervisor from JAIST while choosing second supervisor from Kanazawa University so that students can receive research guidance from different points of view. Faculty members of Division of Transdisciplinary Sciences in both universities are follows:
