About Us
Our laboratory conducts research on inorganic chemistry and materials science in nano-space and on surfaces. We investigate the state and dynamic behavior of molecules and ions absorbed within the internal spaces of porous materials or between the layers of layered compounds, using various methods with a focus on nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). We actively conduct research on electrode materials for various secondary batteries, such as lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and next-generation batteries that are expected to be practical in the future. Our goal is to reveal the true nature of materials and create new materials, substances, and phenomena.
