We will hold the training sessions for the e-journal, Science Direct (by Elsevier and Academic Press) and LINK (by Springer) as follows. Please come and join them.
If you want to join, please inform us of your name, your department and the course you want to attend. E-mail (syori@jaist.ac.jp) by Fri Sep. 27, 2002.

  1. Science Direct training session (Elementary course)
    Time & Date: 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Wed Oct. 9, 2002
    Location: Computer room (Center for Knowledge Science 3F)

  2. Science Direct training session (Intermediate & Advanced course)
    Time & Date: 3:10 p.m. - 4:40 p.m. Wed Oct. 9, 2002

  3. LINK training session
    Time & Date: 3:10 p.m. - (about 1 hour) Mon Oct. 21, 2002

* It's recommended that you participate in both the Elementary course and the Intermediate & Advanced course of Science Direct.

Caution


Please observe the following library rules. Thank you for your cooperation.

  1. Don't leave your valuables unattended.
  2. Don't occupy carrels or the seat of the reading room for many hours.
  3. After you are finished with books or journals, put them back in the correct place. In particularly, return non-circulation materials immediately.
    If you can't find the designated shelf, place the books or journals on the "Return Rack".
  4. Be quiet.
  5. No eating, drinking or smoking (including Browsing Corner).
