The 3rd Japanese Cultural Experience in this year was taken place on March 18 2025.
4 International students visited Yamato Kouji Park, Ohno, Kanazawa city.
As the day was blessed with clear skies, the participants first took a walk around Ohno and enjoyed the quiet seaside scenery. After that, they participated in Kouji Park tour and Miso-ball making experience. In the Koji Park tour, they learned about fermented foods and enjoyed a Koji hand bath that makes their hands smooth. In the Miso-ball making experience, participants mixed dashi, miso, and their favorite ingredients such as green onions and wakame seaweed, rolled them up by themselves, topped them with cute decorations. To enjoy Miso-soup at home, they made three kinds of Miso-balls.
It was a good opportunity to experience Japanese food culture by taking pictures and touring around the Koji Park as they pleased.
