Degree Conferment Ceremony of December FY2024
On Tuesday, December 24th, 2024, Degree Conferment Ceremony of December FY2024 took place at School of Materials Science Hall. A total of 17 students: 8 students in the Master's program and 9 students in Doctoral program received their diplomas.
President Terano encouraged the graduates saying "In JAIST, you had a wonderful time with a variety of students and professors having a variety of backgrounds. It must be effective to build a global human relationship for making up a real peaceful world. The Nobel Peace Prize for 2024 was awarded to the Japanese organization, Nihon Hidankyo. Together with many former graduates of JAIST, all of you attending this ceremony will surely contribute to establishing a peaceful world without any war and nuclear weapons."
