JAIST-ASEAN Deepfake Voice Detection Hub Symposium and ASEAN IVO Meeting was held
JAIST-ASEAN Deepfake Voice Detection Hub aims to create a collaborative research environment for researchers from JAIST and prominent universities and research institutes in the ASEAN region to work on the development of deepfake voice detection technology in Asian languages. In order to widely introduce the results of this project, from October 2 (Wed.) to October 4 (Fri.), a technical meeting of the ICT Virtual Organization of ASEAN Institutes and NICT (ASEAN IVO) was held, and a symposium was also held.
The symposium featured laboratory tours, keynote sessions, and poster demonstrations with 30 participants from Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, and other countries attending in person and online.
The event served as a catalyst for future collaboration in spoof detection.
