Mr. PHO, Ngoc Dang Khoa, (the first year doctoral student in Yoshitaka Lab. of Human Life Design Area), received the Outstanding Student Paper Award in KSE 2018.

The 10th international conference on knowledge and system engineering was held from Nov. 1 to Nov. 3 at Eastern Grand Hotel Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This conference is aimed at discussing and sharing knowledge on natural language processing, multimedia and pattern recognition, biomedical information processing and other related areas.

Protozoa Identification using 3D Geometric Multiple Color Channel Local Feature

■Abstract
The work presented at the conference relates to the topic on the improvement of identification of species of protozoa, which can be found in micrograph. Main idea presented is to classify local features with respect to scale when constructing BoVW considering relaxed spatial relationship.
