Restriction of entry and parking

In JAIST, entry or parking of the vehicle which is not permitted is prohibition except special cases.
When it is necessary to enter or park, please apply for permission at the window in charge.

Special cases: mail carriers or forwarding agents for baggage collection and delivery, emergency vehicles, and specially permitted vehicles.

Please check the restricted range with the traffic regulation map.

The usage permission is valid only for the usage permitted when applying, and it does not authorize the unrestrained entry and parking.

Prepared paking lots

In JAIST, the free parking lot for visitors and library users and the toll parking lots for students, faculty and staff members of this university are prepared.

We start usage reception of each academic year for the toll parking lots from the simultaneous reception at the temporary window in April, so look at news on the top of the page.

Cautions when permitted entry or parking

Do not park except the place permitted in advance.
Do not block up the passage on the parking lots or the campus by parking because it disturb passing of heavy vehicles for carry-in or snow removal, etc.
Obey road signs, etc.
Do not drive in the wrong direction. Especially in the vicinity of the entrance of the municipal JAIST parking lot first lot, it is dangerous because the buses goes in and out.
Drive slowly on the campus for safety of pedestrians.
Be careful about traffic of children because of neighboring family dormitories.
Prevent noise pollution.
JAIST do not take any responsibility for damages due to theft, accidents, etc. on the campus.

Bicycle parking lots are prepared in various places.
Visitors coming by motorcycles, motorized bicycles, and bicycles can use them.

Surrounding facilities, streets, or public areas around JAIST

R & D facilities, industrial support facilities, etc. are integrated around JAIST as Ishikawa Science Park (ISP).
The parking lots located in other facilities of the ISP are not administered by JAIST, and please do not park there without the permission from the facilities.

In addition, please do not park for a long time on the streets or the public areas near the streets.
