  Research funding is granted for the project of 'Development of graphene ultra-sensitive electric field sensor for lightning prediction system' (PI: Dr. M. Manoharan) from Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) in A-Step Tryout category.<Link>

  Dr. Zhongwang Wang got the "2019 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad" from China Scholarship Council(CSC).As his supervisor, Prof. Hiroshi Mizuta received an official Certificate of gratitude from CSC as well.<picture>
