Mr Takuya Iwasaki (D2) has just started his research at University of Southampton (UoS) under the JAIST-UoS Cooperative Research Supervision Program. Takuya presented his research in the poster session of the UK-Japan Nanoelectronics Workshop held in Southampton on the 9th and 10th July. The left-hand side is Dr Harold Chong, the program coordinator on the UoS side.<link>

Takuya Iwasaki (1st year PhD student) received the Young Researcher Paper Award at the Electron Devices Meeting 'Functional Nano Devices and Related Technologies' held by the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers, 5-6 February 2015, University of Hokkaido. <Link1> His paper is titled 'Fabrication and Characterization of Graphene Single Carrier Transistors'.
