Hyakumangoku Festival: Kanzawa's Main Event!
百万石まつり　(金沢市)

From June 12th to the 14th, Kanazawa celebrates its castle town heritage by holding the 44th Hyakumangoku Festival. June 14th is the day in which Maeda Toshiie, the first lord of the Kaga clan, entered Kanazawa Castle from Nanao in the year 1583. The clan went on to rule the Kanzawa area until the early Meiji Period, and made the city a center of culture and education. The festival highlights many of Kanzawa's fine traditional activities and cultures, and its climax is the parade which reenacts Toshiie's procession into the city on June 14th. This is Kanazawa's biggest event held every year!

百万石まつり：金沢のメインイベント！

　6 月 12 日から 14 日まで金沢市では城下町の歴史を祝い、第 44 回百万石まつりを行う。6 月 14 日は加賀藩初代の前田利家が 1583 年に七尾から金沢へ入城した日である。前田藩はそれから明治初期まで金沢地方を中心に広く治め、金沢を文化と教育の中心地として発展させた。この祭は金沢の優れた文化や風習を内外に披露する。14 日は初代藩主利家の入城を再現したパレードが行われ、祭は盛り上がりを見せる。
　百万石まつりは毎年行われ、金沢市恒例の県内で最も大きな祭として知られている！
