Evacuation Route

If you hear an emergency announcement advising you to evacuate due to a fire, etc., please leave the building immediately by the nearest exit.

  • Do not use the elevator.
  • Fire shutters will be activated when a fire is detected in the library. Please use stairs at both ends of each floor since you cannot use the stairwell.
  • If a fire occurs outside the library, the fire shutters will not work. Please evacuate the building using the nearest exit.

  • The emergency exits with red frames are locked at night and on holidays. If the exit is locked when you evacuate, turn the internal lock to open it.
  • The main entrance will be unavailable after the fire shutters are activated. Use the entrances to the office space to evacuate since they will be unlocked as emergency exits in case of emergency.
