Paper on distributional hypothesis (why analogical relation is represented by a parallelogram in vector space?)

We published a new paper in PLoS ONE on a basic computational mechanism of how language structure turned into geometric patterns in word vector space.

ASCONE2024での講師

日髙がASCONE2024　『脳・理解・計算』にて講師を務めます。
「理解の認知過程とその計算理論」というタイトルで、まだ未開の領域に関する話です。数倍の倍率で選ばれた20名余りの精鋭が来るらしく、楽しみです。

長期出張より復帰

日髙は2023年度のサバティカル期間を利用したロンドンでの長期出張を終え、2024年3月末より石川キャンパスに復帰しました。
2023年度は研究室の受け入れを制限していましたが、2024年度以降通常通り修士課程・博士課程学生を受け入れる予定です。
