A Psycholinguistic Perspective" 概要: In almost all the literature on attrition, suggested that for adults the level of attrition is rather low compared to much younger people. The findings from current study contradict with this general conclusion. The findings from this paper suggest that younger people less exposed to the second language compared to adults performed better on orthographic skills an indication of the length of the decay effect. frequent use of L2 (English) even in the native environment, where writing of the first language (Asante Twi) is very rarely used, basic literacy skills such as orthography in the first (L1) is likely to be implicated by the second language (L2) causing first language (L1) attrition. I was inspired a lot by this paper. I hope I could have the more comprehensive understanding on this study from the discussion at the seminar with members that could help me accurate and modify on the parts of my own research which are still not very clear. 書誌情報: Stephen Ntim, Does First Language Attrition of Bilinguals Implicate Orthographic Skills in Native Ghanaian Akan Speakers?
