紹介論文:"Iconicity and metaphor: Constraints on metaphorical extension of iconic forms"

概要: 手話でもメタファーが見られるが，音声言語のメタファーを手話に持ってくることができない例もある．
この現象を説明するメカニズムとして，MeirはTaub(2001)の二重写像の理論をもとに，二重写像制約を提案している．
このメカニズムによると手話の類像性と概念メタファーはそれぞれ写像の構造を持ち，それらが一致しないときに阻害が起こる．
田村が研究する相手の知らない対象を伝えるコミュニケーションでも概念メタファーは重要な役割を果たしており，
現在行っている２次元上の類像性を利用した描画実験において，この制約に基づく説明が可能か検討中である．
明日はTaub(2001)の二重写像及び，Meirの提案する二重写像制約を中心に説明する．
